It was so cold! (Glad I brought my sweater) There was snow on the backside of the mountains. Really pretty though.
Did a bit of gold panning. Just to check out the dirt. Didn't find anything but some black sand. Only siffted through one pan though. Next time we will hit the hot spot.

Black sand is the ticket for gold, the black sand is heavy and where it is there is the possibility for the good stuff
