Float Parade

Arizona's Birthday is tomorrow, and in celebration, the Fourth grade at Zaharis put on a float parade. Shawn's class made their floats in honor of Gila County. Shawn's float said, "Gila County Rocks!" on the top. He included pyrite, and some polished green stone, and many others. Gracie got to sit by Summer, and even participate in the Ice Cream Float party after.

My Nonnie loved rocks. All kinds, the more interesting the better. She used to wear them while riding in parades but she was on horseback. Even the horses had saddles covered in pretty shiny rock like decorations. Sometime you should have Shawn remind me to show him the pictures. She loved a good parade. I used to watch the Rose Parade on TV just to see them. Your parade looked like it was more fun.
