Court

So, I headed out to Maricopa court today. I was not the only ridicules ticket in the room. There was also a man who got ticketed for accelerating to fast.( He was going 25 MPH when the officer pulled him over. In a 35) The judge asked him what he thought the proper fine would be since there was no fine in place and the man chose 150.00. Huh. I would have maybe hit him with 25.00. I got charged with everything and told that I was let off easy since they dismissed the fine for having the improper address on my drivers license. Even though I had that changed, I was let off easy. 380.00 later, I'm back here in Mesa. All of the speeding tickets in the room were for going over the speed limit less than 10 miles an hour. Way back when, I remember getting legitimate tickets. For really speeding. Criminal speed. Not these stupid tickets that make you think that the police are out to get you, not just to serve and protect. Bullshit.

22 Boxes

My wonderful Manfriend made me twenty two cornice boxes over the weekend. Some were quite large. Some had little shapes cut out of them. It probably would have taken me about three whole days to make them. I'm not as fast as him. It will take me a good week to cover them.

Just for being so wonderful I made a special dinner. Ckicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. Complete with asparagus fried in a butter and garlic sauce.

Mud Flaps at Last

After putting them on, runnning them over in reverse and ripping them off, they are finelly cut down and back on.

Next I get a gun and a CWP. I'll stay away from the bullets though.

Typical

Yesterday Shawn refused to eat anything but a grapefruit for lunch. Said he wasn't hungry. I didn't think much of it, the boy likes to eat fruit. Later on that night the kids are complaining about dinner. Neither of them like Chicken Fettuccine with homemade Alfredo sauce. Summer eats hers fast so that she can have half a can of soda, and encourages Shawn to do the same "Just eat big bites! Don't eat one noodle at a time." She tells him. So Shawn hits me with, "Mom. You are just trying to make me fat!" I look at him and tell him that there is not one ounce of fat on his body and he smiles. (Turns out my 9 year old SON has an eating disorder) He tell me, "I know, that's healthy." and I said, "No, it is not healthy. You have to have some type of fat on your body. It's not healthy and it's not pretty to be bone stick skinny!" Some more random conversation, and Dusty tells him that if he tells me that I am fat anymore that he will kick his butt. Shawn of course tells him that he can't kick his butt, and starts taunting him. The boys then start wrestling on MY bed. I tell them to get out, I am going to get in the shower and in ten seconds I will be naked. (No 9 year old boy wants to see his "fat" mom naked!) They leave the room, and I start the shower. I still hear this commotion in the hall. I go out, look into the bathroom and see Dusty holding Shawn upside down with Shawn's head in the toilet and Summer standing by waiting for her cue to flush! Turns out Shawn left a big old turd in the bowl and forgot to flush, so swirly time. I turn around and shut the door and get in the shower. Typical Boys.

Box Canyon

I figured that I better get my pictures up before anyone else does!
We set out to Box Canyon Saturday afternoon. Andy and Dawn (and thier kids) Mom and Dad (and thier kids that still live at the house, except Katt) Cristal and her Alex, Pamela and herson Daniel and her grandson.

By the way, this is not the Shadow of my joey pouch, that is Emillee's hand holding onto me as we rode along. She was brave enough to take an "action" photo

I think that we had plenty of things to ride. We went for a little trip down the canyon and only doubled up three people. I didn't even wreck! Luck for me I don't have to sell my bike just yet...
Dad made some good food in the dutch ovens. One beef, one pork. (not helping the joey pouch!)I'm going to have to get me an oven so that I can con him into dessert!

New Deck

For my Birthday Dusty bought me a new stereo deck for my truck. It has navigation. Something that will come in quite handy for me. Since I drive EVERYWHERE! I am so excited about it. You can press a button and it will show you where all the resaraunts are, gas stations, what ever. Then draw you a little line how to get there and tell you where to turn. Of course the "install" came complete with two amps, two ten inch subs, and new speakers all around. So, now I think that I am pretty pimp!

Shawn, Summer, and Gracie got me a new outfit. I had a bit of trouble with the shorts, when i finelly got them on the right way, I asked Shawn how I looked, and he told me that I looked a little grundgy. I asked him why I look so grundgy, and he replied, "Well, you can still see your legs, and your legs are kinda ugly." Crazy kid. Dusty says that my legs look fine. So, I think that I am going to make it.

My own Joey

As a special present from Dusty, this morning he presented me with my very own Joey Necklace. It came complete with a Kangaroo case. Open the pouch, out pops a JOEY!
