Tortoises

I took Gracie to Shawn and Summers school today so she can check out the tortiose habitat they have there. Turns out we interupted the baby tortiose making. Summer told us as we got into the truck, "That was awkward."

Turns out those little suckers will sleep anywhere. Just like Beans.

Summer's Birthday

Summer had her 7th Birthday January 25. We had a little family party. Just the five of us. Sometimes, that's all you need.

Simple enough, no jail, no fines, no warrents. All taken care of. Now I just get to look forward to my next court date out in Maricopa. Feb. 16th.

More Tickets?!

So, last Thursday, I checked the mail. (I hadn't in a few weeks) I had recieved a notice from the San Tan Justice court that I owed them 990.00! Also that they had issued a warrent for my arrest. Like I'm some type of criminal!
I called down to the court and they told me that it was for the speeding ticket that I went to Traffic school for last November. It was never recorded that I had gone. So the lady on the phone told me that I needed to come down Tuesday, (tomorrow) to open court and talk to the judge. I asked her what I was supposed to do until then. She told me to just be careful! That if I had a run in with the police and passed the "personality test" I would probably not get arrested. She also told me that the judge would dismiss my charges and take care of the warrent. As long as I show up on Tuesday.
So, if you don't hear from me Tuesday, I probably didn't pass any type of personality test, and went straight to jail! I hope I can slide by on pretty for just a few more days.

Park Time

We took the kids to Freestone Park Sunday. They had fun riding thier bikes around. Dusty did some skate boarding. I got to take some pictures, and Summer and Gracie got to slide and swing on the tire swing. The kids climbed up a tall pine tree. The weather is nice now. Not to cold. That cold really gets me.

Salt and Pepper Shakers

So, I went down to the court to take care of my Mud Flap ticket. All I had to do was show the reciept that I bought mud flaps. Since Dusty works on Country Club, and the court is on Country Club, I had lunch with him first at El Charros. We didn't own any salt and pepper shakers, and I always forget to buy some, so I put the salt and pepper shakers in my purse. Yes, I stole the salt and pepper shakers. (I left a decent tip though) I took Dusty back to work, and went to the Court. I put my purse on the x-ray machine, and went through the line. The officer looking at the screen gave me a funny look and said, "Do you have Salt and Pepper Shakers in your purse?" and I started laughing and said, "Yes. I forgot those were in there. Last time I came to the court I had a taco in my purse..." He just handed me my purse. Thank goodness he didn't recognize them and arrest me for stealing!
